Terms & Conditions for Swimming Lesson

Lesson Reservation:
For reservations and info for the swimming lessons, please use reservation form or call us to enquire. If you have a group and the number is sufficient to start the this package, you can fix your convenient date and we will do our best to accommodate your request on anyday based on serviceability or availability of swimming coaches and weather permitted.

Below are our terms, conditions and policies for swimming lessons cancellations, no shows, refunds, and reschedule policy.

Total lesson listed in our packages does not means the student will master the skills in the number of lesson. It is just as a package and days of lesson for each session. This is very subjective and will be depend on each student individual skills and understand the knowledge been taught and be able to perform it. All student in our school will have written records for their performance in the lesson.

All swimming pool places are booked on a first come first served basis. Students book a series of lessons on the basis of there being a vacant space within a pool and time slot.

The re-booking process will guarantee a student a place within the programme. It will not however guarantee a specific time slot. All students are subject to movement within the class schedules, and due to the range of ability levels it is possible that no space will be available during the same time slot. OXBOLD will endeavour to be flexible in its allocation of places according to ability, but may find it impossible to meet every eventuality. Consideration will be given to siblings and other family members, but not all levels can be accommodated within the same time slots.

For the termination of swimming lesson, student has to serve one month notice in advance.

Adverse Weather & Safety Precautions:
On a bad weather day, the swimming instructor and the pool authority reserve the exclusive rights to cancel the swimming lesson for safety reasons. Once a swimming lesson has started and has to be cancelled due to rain, there will be no make up lesson. However, land-drills exercise, water safety theory or Q&A session will be conducted. Therefore please attend classes regardless of the weather conditions unless you have been informed that the lesson is cancelled. Lesson can be conducted under drizzling rain.

There will be no refund and make up class if student is absent or when there’s cancellation of lesson due to personal problem and without informing the instructor/coach for any reason. However if lesson is cancelled by the swimming instructor, make-up class will be arrange for the student.

Temporary Discontinuation:
One month notice has to be given for student who wants to temporary discontinue the swimming lessons while away for holiday or for any other reasons.

Swimming Equipment:
Swim goggles, swim suit or trunk are the necessary equipment a student should have for the swimming lesson. You may purchase these products from us at a special rate!

Students should note that an sport activities involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to the action of clients which are beyond our control. A signed release or Indemnity Form will be required from all students before swimming lesson commence.

OXBOLD and our instructors, staff on duties reserve the right to make such alteration to availability of equipment, activities dates, etc, that we deem necessary due to activities site and weather conditions or other conditions beyond our control including minimum safe running numbers, before and whilst on an activities. OXBOLD and our instructors, partners, management and its staff shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any injuries or loss or damage to client whose participating in the activities or lesson (Liability Release Form will be signed by participants before activities take-off).

OXBOLD instructors and staff on duties reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the lesson, experience due to weather, serviceability or availability of equipment, manpower or unforeseen circumstances. Reschedule for activities / experience only apply if there is bad weather or unforeseen circumstances agree by both parties. If participants wish to reschedule the activities to another suitable day must provide written or email without penalty with at least 24 hours notification. Activities scheduled outside of regular business hours (9am - 6pm) must be rescheduled before the close of business day.

Instructors and staff on duties will advise you it is a GO, NO GO or Reschedule due to weather, lake or sea water conditions. After used the activities or services, no refund will be entertained. We believe it must be both parties agreed to the activity, else Instructor will not guide the student due to bad weather or etc. Please take note on this!

OXBOLD reserve the right to change the prices without notice.

Fitness, Health & Experience:
Good health and a positive mental attitude are essential. This activity is valid to anyone who age from 0 to 60 and in good health condition. OXBOLD and our instructors, staff on duties reserve the right to refuse to carry any client who is deemed to endanger the safe running of the activities. The activities may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, recent head injuries, recurrent fainting, blackouts, high blood pressure, heart conditions or back problems. If in any doubt participants should seek the medical advice of their GP prior to booking.

Indemnity Form:
Each student is required to sign an indemnity form in the swimming school before step into the pool or lesson commences.

Students are advised to be insured. All our swimming lessons rate are excludes the insurance coverage. However, we encourage student to have your own insurance coverage.

Payment Condition:
  1. Full payment has to be made before the starting of swimming lessons.
  2. Payment should be by cash or cross cheque to OXBOLD bank account.
  3. Postponement notice will be provided by OXBOLD or our instructor and sport partner due to bad weather and other matters out of our control.
  4. Postponement notice from student must be provided by call or email minimum within 2 working days. Maximum to one time postpone notice allowed from students/student per month. Full refund will be entertained to student who agreed and bound to our terms and conditions.
  5. Once payment made. student will received a Confirmation Letter from OXBOLD. Only booking with confirmation letter consider as VALID booking (Please insist of Confirmation letter once you made the payment).
We pay 100% Money Back GUARANTEE to our clients. If you fulfill the payment and cancellation policy, we will pay back full amount to you! We believe in trust and committed to our services to all our clients.


Guest must forward a written notice within the following period:

Weather Delays: All lessons will take place at their scheduled time as long as the weather permits. OXBOLD reserves the right to postpone lessons at their discretion due to weather or conditions they deem unsafe. If conditions or weather prevent the lesson from taking place, the lesson will be rescheduled for future convenient time or credit will be issued for future lesson.

Rescheduling: If there are open times, you may reschedule so up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled lesson. If there are no open times, cancellation terms will apply. Lessons may be rescheduled one time only.

No Shows: There is no refund or re-scheduling for no-show lessons.

Circumstances: We are not responsible for expenses incurred due to transportation related delays, illness, or any other circumstances.

•  14 (Fourteen) days prior to arrival: Full Refund
•  7 (Seven) days prior to arrival: Charge 50% from total package amount
•  3 (Three) days: Non Refundable
•  Insurance payment is non-refundable.
•  No show or UN-USED Service, 100% cancellation fee will be imposed.
•  Guest may have option to change current reserved schedule to other convenience date.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, making it impossible or inadvisable to conduct the lesson, we ('OXBOLD') and our partners reserve the right to change to another schedule or cancel the activities to our absolute discretion. In such eventuality, agreed by both parties. A full refund shall be given to the client who calls us to cancel the package (hereafter referred to as "activity" or "activities") at least 14 days prior to the scheduled activity. All activities shall be subject to a full cancellation fee if cancelled in less than 3 days / 72 hours. No shows are clients who do not cancel but who miss their activity for any reason. No shows will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee and shall not be entitled to any refund. All refunds for activities shall be made within 7 days from date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed upon original confirmatoin letter / receipt. Activities already taken are nonrefundable.
