ABOUT MOUNT / GUNUNG JERAI Gunung Jerai (also known as Puncak Kedah) is a mountain in the state of Kedah Darul Aman, Malaysia, bordering the districts of Kuala Muda and Yan. It is 1,207 metres (3,900 ft) high.
Gunung Jerai can be seen from Penang and nearby areas in the state of Kedah and is surrounded by rice paddy fields. It is an inselberg, unlike other mountains in the peninsula, Sarawak and Sabah which are usually located in ranges. The mountain is located on the coast, far removed from the range systems of Peninsular Malaysia. In fact, it is said to be visible to sailing ships and passing ships in the waters of Kedah and the Straits of Malacca for 100 km. The observer's visibility depends on weather conditions.

Safety
Safety briefing will be conducted on land before participants take-off. Participant must follow all safety instruction at all time.
If wind condition is not perfect to take-off, instructor will not fly.
Reschedule or postpone will appy if it's not a good paragliding day.
